{"id":14524,"date":"2025-01-30T12:37:26","date_gmt":"2025-01-30T09:37:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pharmacell.gr\/?post_type=events&#038;p=14524"},"modified":"2025-11-18T10:54:52","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T07:54:52","slug":"hepa-healthy_egg-research-project-presentation","status":"publish","type":"events","link":"https:\/\/pharmacell.gr\/en\/events\/hepa-healthy_egg-research-project-presentation\/","title":{"rendered":"HEPA HEALTHY_Egg Research Project Presentation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the <strong>HepaHealthy_Egg<\/strong> project presentation on <strong>Thursday, January 30, 2025<\/strong>, with great participation and interest from the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HepaHealthy_Egg<\/strong> is an 18-month interdisciplinary project that harnesses the power of Greek nature, specifically milk thistle (<em>Silybum marianum<\/em>), to improve the health of laying hens and produce eggs of high nutritional value. \ud83e\udd5a\u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within the framework of the project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The development, production, and marketing of dietary supplements with therapeutic properties for farm animals are carried out, using plant extracts native to Greece.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As a pilot application, milk thistle extract is used in laying hens to enhance their well-being and produce branded eggs of added value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The project contributes to the sustainable and environmentally friendly development of poultry farming in Central Macedonia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Project Partners:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Aristotle University of Thessaloniki \u2013 School of Veterinary Medicine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pharmacell A.E.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National Center for Research &amp; Technological Development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HepaHealthy_Egg<\/strong> is implemented under the \u201cInnovation Investment Plans\u201d initiative and co-funded by the <strong>European Union<\/strong> and national resources through the \u201cCentral Macedonia\u201d program (NSRF 2021-2027).
